Chris Wilson

You never know how you will feel when one day you wake up and your world is turned upside down… The emotions, the feelings; feeling alone and scared, sad, angry, and not understanding what is going on around you. You feel lost, you look around and you feel so alone. My name is Chris Wilson, this is how I felt and truth be told how I still feel. My baby girl was born on May 16th 2014. Shortly after we were told that our little baby had a rare life threatening disease called Billary Artesia.

There is no cure and no known cause.  This was very devastating for us.  A friend of ours reached out to Twisted Ribbons and told them our story.  Thanks just doesn’t even come close to how much I appreciate everything this group has done for me and my family.  The love and respect this group has shown me has been remarkable. Thank you all so, so, much.  Twisted Ribbons really came through for me and my family in our time of need. I can never repay you for all you have done, I love you guys thank you so much.

Vanessa Stone

Vanessa Stone

My name is Vanessa Stone and I gave birth to a true miracle, my hero, Paisley Nicole Stone. Paisley was born with a heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which basically means she was only born with half of her heart. She had her first open heart surgery when she was 10 days old and will have two more before she is 3. Because of all the help and support we received from our friends at Twisted Ribbons I was able to stay bedside with my amazing little girl for 32 days while she fought for her life and recovered from her first open heart surgery. The donations helped us with housing and traveling expenses back and forth from weekly doctor’s appointments and hospital stays. Thank you sooo much for all your love and support from my family to you!!
